Purchased in 2011 in neglected condition.
November 2011 - sandblasted.
April 2012 - all body repairs and paint finished and back in owners garage, registered and on Club Plates.
April 2013 - on the road and being enjoyed.

The Porsche 356 was produced between 1948 and 1955 before being replaced by the 356A.
In 1953 �The Autocar� described the 356 as a car whose "fine aerodynamic lines attract immediate attention" and whose "very appearance suggests speed�.

By 1953, the new, larger capacity motors carried very few of the original Volkswagen based components, resulting in cars capable of more than 100mph.
