A wonderful example of a survivor 911 Carrera 3.0. This model, which lasted only 2 model years, slotted in above the 2.7 911S and below the then newly released 930 Turbo.

Delivered originally through Hamilton’s of Melbourne this car has been used and enjoyed by owners in Melbourne, rural NSW, the Sunshine Coast, and rural WA. Purchased sight unseen during the second lockdown of 2020, and based solely on the opinion of a fellow enthusiast. It was a calculated risk that definitely paid off.

This 3.0 Carrera is a perfect example of what an enthusiast of the mid 1970s could specify well before the day of web-based configurators, it features cork trim, original 2 model year pinstripe inserts, sports seats, sunroof and 15 inch 7’s and 8’s.

Used regularly, this car has completed the Porsche Club of Victoria’s Tasmanian Tour (2021), and attended the Porsche Club of NSW 60th Anniversary celebrations in 2023.

Carrera 3.0’s are now emerging out of the shadows of their older brothers - the Carrera RS and Carrera2.7 - and receiving the recognition they have long deserved.
