This 1982 Porsche 911 SC Coupe previously owned by the Larry Wilson Collection in Florida, USA, has been treated to a full conversion to 993 RSR Race Car. A bespoke build with Invoices totalling over US$800k/AUD$1.2m. This one of a kind track only special features a removable carbon fibre body fitted over a modified chassis, powered by a fuel-injected 3.8L flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle sourced from a 996 GT3. Plexiglass windows, MoTeC digital dash display, ventilated Brembo disc brakes and cooling ducts, adjustable FOX coil-overs built by ''Penske Racing'' and staggered BBS wheels complete the draw dropping appearance. The cabin features an OMP fixed-back carbon fibre drivers seat, OMP harness, Sparco steering wheel, a carbon fiber dash panel, and a fabricated centre console housing the 996 GT3 shifter. Additional equipment includes a roll cage, fire-suppression system, and a drilled aluminium throttle pedal assembly. The car was raced by Larry Wilson in various Club and State level competition with great success before being retired some years ago and continued an easy life with ongoing maintenance as a display car in the world famous ''Wilson Museum of Automotive Art''. Since arriving in Australia, the car has undergone metal fabrication upgrades to secure a new Fuel Safe fuel cell and bring the car up to FIA standards. Freshly Log Booked with Motorsport Australia for Sportscars 2A Category, this car can be raced in a number of state and national circuit events. The car could also potentially be set up for tarmac rally use. This vehicle is for sale at Young Timers Garage, Keysborough. Learn more
