The 914 series was only ever offered in LHD configuration.This car was 1/3 imported by Dennis O’Keefe, owner of
Aporshapart Porsche Dismantlers.
He converted the cars to RHD and installed a 3.2 engine, using it daily.
He fitted a 916 bodykit to it along with 914-6 GT guard extensions.
On selling the 3.2 engine, he put a 3.6 in it and the car sat in his shed for 14
years until I appeared.Lots of additions were carried out,930 brakes,930 wheels, Bilstein shocks, body strengthening kit etc.
A lot of the interior was missing, so I set about putting it all back to close to original.
I then had the car painted by Andy at
FABCOAT.
A large capacity oil cooler was fitted, as well as Spello cooling fans.
A 915 gearbox with a WEVO sideshift kit was mated to the 964-3.6 by Adrian at HARTECH Automotive,an engineers certificate obtained and all was good after 5.5 years.
